 The Rainbow House Children's Resource Center (Rainbow House CRC) is an organization devoted to reducing the occurrence of child abuse and to assisting the victims. Throughout Houston County, Rainbow House coordinates community efforts in child abuse education, advocacy, treatment, family support, prevention, and training. The house itself is a child-friendly facility where children feel more comfortable talking about their situation.
Rainbow House has a part-time opening for a Victim Advocate, for more information, click on the Child Advocacy Center tab to the left. Family Fun Day & Movies in the Park – Postponed Due to the possibility of uncertain and inclement weather conditions, Family Fun Day and Movies in the Park have been canceled for Saturday, April 21st. The event will be rescheduled and flyers will be redistributed once the final details have been determined. Thank you for your support of our organizations and the community. Just a reminder, the Car Seat Safety Check is still scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, April 21st from 11 am – 1 pm at The Surgery Center (beside Houston Medical Center). Stop by to make sure your car seat or booster seat is properly installed. This is a free event and could save your child’s life.
